Summer is in Full Swing with the 2012 CLAEO BBQ

Each year, the CLAEO Golf BBQ chooses a course for our members to enjoy some golf and great food.

And 2012 was no exception!

Unfortunately, this year we had to opt for “Plan B” since the Thunderbird Golf Course Clubhouse was under construction after suffering a devastating fire.

With construction going on at the time, we moved our Golf Social to the Chesire Cat Pub up the road.

As construction enthusiasts, we couldn’t help but appreciate how nicely the work at Thunderbird was going! With an unknown completion date, we had to offer our hope for the best.

After the golf tournament, we moved up the road to the Chesire Cat Pub, a great little spot with delicious pub food and excellent ambiance. (Update: In 2013, the pub also suffered a devastating fire.)
